Abstract
La lejana Lima de los de las dos primeras décadas de este siglo fue el escenario de un acontecimiento realmente singular. La universidad San Marcos, una de las casas de estudio con mayor abolengo, tradición e historia de todo América, había dejado su papel rector y dirigencial de la cultura peruana.
